Miss Linda Castaldo (B.A, B.ED, PGCE), Embassy lnternational School Principal.
Linda Castaldo has been working at EIS for two years now. She was initially appointed as Head of English in the Secondary School. Last year she accepted the position of Head of Secondary Academics and from September 2026 she will take on a new role as Deputy Head.
Her career in education spans 40 years – working in 15 schools, in 9 very diverse countries and on 3 continents. Her former position was Head of English at Sherborne Senior School in Doha, Qatar where she worked for 6 years but she has also held the roles of Deputy Head of Academics at a private school in Franschhoek, South Africa, Director of Studies at an international school in Lagos, Nigeria and Head of Middle School in Windhoek, Namibia.
Prior to teaching on the international circuit, she worked at a prestigious private school namely the Royal Hospital School in Suffolk, England for 4 years where she taught Media Studies and English Literature at GCSE and A Level to several Oxbridge pupils. In Malaysia, she worked at a private Sixth Form College teaching A Level English Literature as Head of English.
Apart from being obviously passionate about literature and reading, she is also an avid traveller and to date she has been to 55 countries. She appreciates art, music, horse riding and she owns 3 cats which she adopted in Qatar and brought with her to Poland.
She thinks that Krakow is an amazing, historical, cultural city and is really loving her time here in Poland; however, she readily admits that the weather has taken some getting used to after the heat of the Middle East!
She hopes to do justice to this important new role by supporting staff and students academically and pastorally and aiming to establish strong connections with parents as we all strive to do the very best for our students at Embassy International School.
