Magdalena completed a Bachelor of Arts in English Philology at Higher Vocational School (2008, Krosno, Poland) as well as a Masters of Arts in English Philology at Higher School of Linguistics (2011, Czestochowa, Poland).
Since completing her degrees, she has gained ten years of teaching experience in all year levels of primary and middle school. Her inquisitive nature as well as a passion for languages encouraged her to move to England in 2012 where she taught English as a First and Second language, Math and other subjects to primary age students from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds.
After teaching at various schools in England, Magdalena undertook a new challenge and moved to Rome to teach at a large international school where she used the PYP or Primary Years Programme. She believes the PYP curriculum offers students great educational opportunities, enabling them to discover their interests and passions, providing the tools to become lifelong learners.
In her own words: “My teaching philosophy lies under the strong belief that everyone is capable of succeeding. In my classes, I integrate real-life activities to ensure that each student can naturally make connections with the learning, creativity to engage students, and differentiation to ensure that students become confident learners.”
When she has the opportunity, she likes to travel and explore while meeting new people, taking photographs and trying new foods along the way!
