Joanna received her BA degree in English and an MA degree in European Studies from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. She is bilingual and holds two citizenships, Polish and British. As a child she lived in London with her parents and for the last 18 years she has been living in the UK.
She studied language translation at Westminster University in London and has worked as a translator and interpreter for the last 25 years, currently also as a Sworn Translator in Poland.
In the recent years she has volunteered as a teaching assistant at her twin sons’ primary school in Plymouth, UK and is now moving back to Krakow to work as an EAL teacher at Embassy International School.
Joanna has also been an active member of the Krakow music scene since she was 18 years old and is now looking forward to going back to fulfilling her singing passion.
But most of all, she is very excited to come back to Krakow and join the Embassy family, teaching English to young people. She strongly believes that with the right motivation, guidance and approach every student can reach their maximum potential in learning the English language.
