“On the 9th January, Year 4-6 went to History Land, where everything is built from over 1 million Lego blocks.
From the 5th of January to the 12th, 42 of our pupils and 6 of our staff members, went on the trip to the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, Italy.
As part of their IPC Human Body Unit, Paediatric Students from the Jagiellonian University Medical College visited year 5 and 6 on Monday, the 3rd of December.
On Friday, the 30th November, we had a visit from members of the Department of Archeology at the Jagiellonian University.
Early Years has finished our two week recycling theme. We are very proud of our Sunshine and Forest classes for all the steps that they took to help with Global Conservation.
On Tuesday 13th November we were privileged to be allowed to visit the bison reserve near Niepołomice. The weather was amazingly gorgeous…we saw the woods in all their glory.
One of our art teachers, Krzysztof Gil had an exhibition in London in the past few weeks, and articles about this in Vogue magazine. Well done Krzysztof!
On Saturday, 17th of November, the hiking club braved the cold and set off for their trip to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska/ Lanckorona.
On Tuesday, 20th November some of our secondary pupils went to see “Revenge” at the Juliusz Slowacki Theatre in Krakow. It is a seemingly innocent social comedy about a property dispute written by the “father” of Polish comedy, Aleksander Fredro.
During the weekend of the 17th and 18th of November, 7 of our pupils attended the Model United Nations meetings in Szczecin, where they took part in debates and had to present their allocated country’s positions and petitions.
“Last Tuesday, 13th November 2018, Year 7 pupils had a chance to learn about magic in Physics. They went to the AGH University of to see an interactive exhibition entitled “On the other side of the mirror”.

Our very own, Ms Penny Turner submitted a poem, “Nothing and Nowhere” to the Elmet Poetry competition and received a commendation. This is worth celebrating and we are proud to have one of our teachers honoured in this way.
On the 22nd October, most of our lower secondary students set out for their integration trip. The main goal of the trip was to build working relationships between students and to get to know each other.
On Friday the 26th of October, The PTA, in collaboration with the staff from Primary, decorated the Assembly Room before lunch in Fall and Halloween themes.
From the 15th to the 17th of October the pupils from Upper Secondary went on an integration trip to the Pieniny region of southern Poland.

On the 29th September, Embassy International, along with The American School of Warsaw, The British School of Cracow and The Wroclaw International School met on the Błonia for the 2nd ISK Fall Race.
“Pupils from years 7, 8, 9 and those taking Physics in 10, 12 and 13 visited the AGH University on Thursday, 20th September to attend a lecture on static electricity.
On the 21st of September, the whole school took part in the celebration of Peace One Day. This took various forms, from posters, poems and plays,
