We have become an examination centre for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.


1st Winter Concert

Date: 22nd December 2016

Very nearly all the children and young people in our school participated in our first Winter Concert in the Manggha Museum on Thursday 22nd December.


Esperanza Day

Date: 15th December 2016

Years 5 and 6 recently read the novel, Esperanza Rising, by Pam Munoz Ryan. As a culmination to the novel study, the kids held an “Esperanza Day.” They planned a great event and invited their Year 1 and 2 book buddies to share in the learning and fun.


Theatre trip – Skapiec

On 19th November a group of young people from the school went to the theatre accompanied by our leader of the Polish section, Mrs Przybyszewska.


Growing Our Air

Date: 18th November 2016

On Thursday 17th November and again on Friday 18th November our young adults in Secondary made a very important presentation to different interest groups from our community. The theme of their talk was ‘Growing our Air’, an initiative to do something about the smog in Krakow.  On
Thursday they presented to parents and invited guests, and on Friday they showed their younger colleagues from Primary and teachers.


Parent Teacher Association

Date: 17th November 2016

On Thursday 17th November we formally brought together our Parent Teacher Association (PTA). It was important that we took time in this our first year to make sure that everyone had a chance to get to know each other prior to selecting class representatives and a Chair.

Mrs Muller kindly agreed to lead the PTA  and we all look forward to regular meetings to push forward the important agenda the PTA represents.

Superhuman morning


Primary School were absolutely thrilled and delighted to present the fruits of their labour and hard work during the last International Primary Curriculum (IPC) unit on the human body.


Hallowe’en Party

Date: 3rd November 2016

On Friday 28th October the whole school enjoyed our first ever Hallowe’en Party! The school was decorated form midweek with a variety of attractive and scary ‘features’, we had Jack o’ Lanterns carved from pumpkins and on Friday we had a series of special and international lessons based around the theme of Hallowe’en.

It is with delight that we can announce our membership of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) has been accepted. The application is a long process and involves a thorough review of our policies and procedures, also our compatability with the general idea of ‘British’ education and our understanding of that.

Summer school update

We only have three spaces left for our younger group summer school activities with Dominika Braithwaite. Adam’s group, for youngsters aged 10-14, with a fun packed set of activities still has places free from 16th August. Please contact us for more information.

Summer School!!!

We are delighted to announce that we have organised two groups for the Summer School activities in August – for ages 3-7 (led by Dominika Braithwaite, Early Years leader) and ages 10-14 (led by Adam Rozalowski, our film club star from Chicago). Building News

Date: 15th June 2016

Building A, where years 1-6 are located now has finished classrooms. The library and assembly hall/lunchroom have reached the stage of final painting.

Building B is also making excellent progress and is slightly ahead of schedule for completion soon.

Teachers needed!


Pupils are coming in significant numbers to the Embassy International School. We have decided to open a further class in Primary.

Teacher vacancy!

Due to expansion, we have decided to open an extra class in Lower/Mid Primary. Following from this, we are looking to employ an enthusiastic, engaged, qualified Primary School teacher.


IPC Conference in London

The IPC Coordinator and Upper Primary Teacher, Trish Bogdanchik, attended the 2016 IPC Regional Conference in London on April 20th. This was a wonderful opportunity for Embassy International School to further establish a relationship within the IPC community.


IPC Conference in London

Miss Trish Bogdanchik, our IPC Coordinator and Upper Primary teacher, will be travelling to London next week for the IPC regional conference and will also take part in two training sessions.

We hope Miss Trish is going to have an enjoyable, productive and inspirational time in London, where she will get the opportunity to exchange views with a huge number of  other highly experienced IPC practitioners. More news will follow after she returns.

Revision Courses – new starts


In addition to the revision courses we were already providing, last week we added more revision courses for some young people who are looking for that extra boost before their exams.


These courses are arranged on an individual basis according to the needs of the specific youngster.
