A-Levels curricula are internationally benchmarked qualifications that provide excellent preparation for university education. They are widely recognised as the ‘Gold Standard’ qualification for top universities in Britain as well as being acknowledged internationally as evidence of the most demanding and rigorous intellectual training.
A-Levels are unique in providing unrivalled depth of learning in a small number of specialist subjects. Students will typically choose 3-5 subjects in their first year of study and subsequently reduce their load to 3 subjects. They take AS exams in those subjects they complete after one year and A-Level exams in those studied for two years. With A-Levels students have developed the kind of subject knowledge which is often only acquired during the first year at university in many other countries.
At the Embassy International School in Cracow, we offer AQA A-Levels in small groups of no more than five students led by experienced specialist subject teachers who are students’ constant point of contact throughout the course. This provides the close support and guidance that are essential to meet the academic demands that A-Levels place on international students.
