The Primary Chess Tournament brought together young chess enthusiasts for a day of strategic competition and fun. Held in the school auditorium, the event featured participants from Year 2, Year 3, Year 5 and Year 6 – we gathered 28 volunteers in total! The tournament was organized in a knockout format, with students competing in age-appropriate category.
Teachers cheered on as the pupils demonstrated impressive skills and sportsmanship. After several intense rounds, the best players were awarded delicious trophies. The event not only highlighted the students’ intellectual abilities but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and healthy competition among them all.
Lastly we would like to extend a roaring cheer for 2024 Chess Champion: Adhrit from Year 6!
