Fall Festival 2024

The Fall Festival held on Friday, October 18th, was a spectacular event that brought together students, parents and staff for a day of fun and festivities. Organised primarily by the Parent-Teacher Association, the school was beautifully decorated, creating a vibrant atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable celebration.

A Night of Fun and Games

From the moment guests arrived, they were greeted with an array of exciting activities designed for students of all ages. The festival featured face painting, where children transformed into their favourite characters, and a Diwali Room that celebrated the rich culture and traditions of the festival of lights. In the Assembly area, students engaged in fun games that sparked laughter and friendly competition. One of the highlights of the evening was the reading session for our youngest pupils, who were enchanted by stories told by our special guest, the Witch. This interactive storytelling not only entertained but also fostered a love for reading among our little ones.

Snack Buffet and Photobooth Fun

As participants enjoyed the various activities, they could indulge in a delightful snack buffet filled with treats. The photobooth was another popular attraction, where families captured memories with fun props and backdrops.

The Great Pumpkin Contest

Adding to the excitement was a contest to guess the weight of a massive pumpkin. This year, Year 1 student Branko emerged victorious, impressively estimating the pumpkin’s weight and taking home a special prize. His enthusiasm exemplified the spirit of participation that defined the day!

The festival was made even more special by the creative dress code embraced by both students and staff. Many arrived in costumes that added to the festive atmosphere, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm for the celebrations. As we reflect on it, the Fall Festival was not just an event; it was a celebration of community spirit, creativity, and togetherness. A heartfelt thank you to all volunteers from the PTA and everyone who participated in making this festival a resounding success! We look forward to more events that unite our school community in fun and learning.
