Burns Supper

Every year around the world people celebrate the life and mission of Robert Burns with a special evening together with friends featuring food, dance, whiskey, fine company and speeches. Burns and his poetry belong to the whole world. Robert Burns is the national bard (poet) of Scotland. He lived at the same time as Mozart, and promoted themes of friendship, equality, joy of life and aspiration. Burns represents much of our school’s values. This is an occasion for all, regardless of your home language or native culture. It is a chance for us to get together and enjoy each other’s company informally.
