Yesterday we celebrated European Day of Languages.
In the morning, we made the tree of languages
and prepared leaves to pin on it with our names.
The green leaves meant our mother tongue and yellow- foreign language that speak.
Later, we participated in quiz called “Where am I?”. We were shown twenty images and we had to find out where those images were taken.
After that, we had buffet of snack from around the world prepared by our lovely parents and even pupils. We could taste different delicious treats.
In the afternoon, primary classes participated in a quiz called “Guess my language”. Every class present different language presented. Pupils, after each performance, had to discuss and vote to decide which language it is.
After that, some parent came to read a story in their native language.
