In May, Year 7 students learned about the circulatory system. After getting familiar with the theory, a time came for practice. Their task was to dissect a heart. Each student was given a chicken’s heart. After cutting it, they were supposed to recognize particular parts: ventricles, atria, valves and main blood vessels. Now, the structure of a heart has no mysteries for them!
