The recent participation of our school’s Model United Nations (MUN) Team at the WawMUN 2024 conference in Warsaw from November 7 to 10, 2024, was a remarkable experience.
This year’s theme, “Sustainable Development in a World of Compromised Peace,” highlighted the critical intersection of peace and sustainability, encouraging delegates to address pressing global challenges collaboratively.Our Secondary students demonstrated exceptional dedication and hard work throughout the event, earning the pride of our entire community. Special recognition goes to their mentor, Mr. Łukasz Michalik, whose guidance was invaluable during this journey. The conference gathered over 350 delegates, making it one of the largest MUN events in Central-Eastern Europe, organized by students from Batory High School.
In addition to engaging discussions, our MUN Team had the opportunity to invite participants to the EISMUN 2025, co-hosted by EIS and Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny in Kraków, scheduled for February 7 to 9, 2025. This upcoming event promises to be an exciting platform for delegates to engage in vibrant debates on critical global issues, further fostering the spirit of collaboration and innovation that MUN embodies.
