Having a chance to have contact with engineering masterpieces from the past is a wonderful way to encourage our young people to think about how they can create their own technological masterpieces for the future.
On Friday, September 8th at 10:30, the school will receive a special guest – American la France of 1919, produced in the United States and originally driven by the fire chief. Only 19 of these models were ever produced and this car is an absolutely unique vehicle. It weighs 2.5 tonnes, has a 105 horsepower engine and can accelerate to over 120 kilometres per hour. This is the largest and heaviest historic bolide car in the country. This American la France has won several international antique car competitions. Mr. Bogdan, the car’s owner, will kindly showcase his vehicle on Friday as it makes its way to the CLASSIC MOTO SHOW KRAKÓW September 8-10, where the car is a star of the event.
We are looking forward to this event very much!
