Last Friday, November 22, the Primary School buzzed with excitement as students participated in the much-anticipated “One Minute to Win It” house challenge. Organised by the Primary Leader, this event was a blend of teamwork, creativity, and spirited competition, fostering a sense of community among students and staff alike.
Memorable moments
Class teachers led various activities at each station, engaging students in games such as Cookie Face, where participants had to balance cookies on their foreheads before transferring them to their mouths, and Pendulum Swing, which tested both skill and precision. The energy in the air was palpable as laughter and cheers echoed throughout the school. A collection of photos capturing the day’s highlights was created to commemorate this joyful occasion. Images from challenges like Ear, Nose, Clap, Toilet Paper Pull, and others showcased students in action, their faces lit up with determination and delight.
Celebrating Achievement
The day also included a special shout-out to Year 3 for maintaining the cleanest classroom during the week. As a reward, Dusty the Dragon would spend the week with them—a charming gesture that highlighted positive behaviour and responsibility among students. Overall, “One Minute to Win It” was not just about competition; it was about building relationships and creating lasting memories within the school community. The event underscored the importance of cooperation and fun in education, leaving everyone looking forward to future challenges.
