On Mondays, 25th of February and 4th of March, our pupils had the opportunity to attend lectures with professor Jan Czekaj. The lectures were devoted to financial markets and how to invest money.
During the lectures, the students had the opportunity to ask questions to expand their knowledge.
Professor Jan Czekaj works as a full time Professor and Head of the Department of Financial Markets at the University of Economics in Kraków. Between 1994-1996, he was the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Privatisation. He was a member of the Warsaw Stock Exchange Council in 1994-1995 and Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Finance in 2002-2003. He has also served as a member of the Monetary Policy Council. Finally, he is also decorated with the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
It was an honour to host him and a privilege for our students to attend these lectures.
