On Saturday, 17th of November, the hiking club braved the cold and set off for their trip to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska/ Lanckorona.
Apart from the 13km hike in hilly terrain, the pupils also had a chance to take part in a pottery workshop, taste some traditional Polish food in the Cathedral restaurant (so called Pilgrim’s Restaurant) and walk to Lanckorona through the forest to find the ruins of the castle.
Even though it was the first cold day of the season, with the temperature at -1C when they set off, they had fun and explored yet another beautiful part of nature close to Krakow.
Thanks to the staff who participated and made all the arrangements for a safe and fun trip.
