We are thrilled to share with you the remarkable success of the Embassy Model United Nations Conference held from February 23rd to 25th, 2024. This extraordinary event was organized entirely by the pupils of Embassy International School in collaboration with the University of Economics in Krakow. It marks a significant milestone in our school’s history and showcases the dedication and capability of our young leaders.
The conference, which hosted over 120 participants, featured engaging debates in specialized committees, logistical support, and hospitality arrangements, all excellent executed by our MUN team, led by our teacher Mr Łukasz Michalik, Michał Kotulski, Sara Stockdale, Arin Hesskew, Krzysztof Jasonek, Alicja Tomaszek, Damir Bułułukow, Szymon Meysztowicz, Zoja Kacperczyk and Ula Mróz. Partnering with the University of Economics ensured a high rank experience, with the entire event taking place on the campus grounds.
MUN, a simulation of the United Nations, serves as a platform for participants to embody the roles of delegates from various nations, addressing global issues through debate and negotiation. This educational project develops diplomatic skills, critical thinking, and leadership qualities among youth, empowering them to make a positive impact on the international stage.
The success of our conference, earning a rating of 4.6/5.0 and ranking among the top 10 MUN conferences globally, is a testament to the dedication and talent of our pupils.
