On the 22nd March, our students from year 5 and up were able to showcase what they have learnt regarding poetry and the value of memorising poems by heart.
The winners of the class poetry recitation contests, were invited to perform their poems, as well as a group performance by year 10.
Another valuable part of the evening was the presentation of the music projects in years 7 – 9 and a musical performance by years 8 – 10.
It was a lovely insight into the value of poetry in different languages and a good opportunity to see our pupils grow in confidence in their public speaking. Thank you to the teachers for preparing our pupils well, the pupils for their courage and all the parents and teachers who came to support them.
