In October, our Primary Years students had the wonderful opportunity to embark on several exciting field trips, enriching their learning experiences outside the classroom.
On October 9, students from Years 1 and 2 visited the Lazy Forest. Despite a bit of rain, the children embraced the weather and enjoyed their time exploring the natural surroundings. They engaged in various activities, connecting with nature and learning about the environment in a fun and interactive way.
The following week, on October 16, students from Years 3 and 4 took a trip to the Botanical Garden in Kraków. This visit provided them with a chance to observe a diverse range of plant species and learn about biodiversity. The gardens offered a beautiful setting for students to appreciate nature’s beauty while participating in educational activities designed to enhance their understanding of botany.
At the same time, students from Years 5 and 6 visited the local zoo. This trip was not only enjoyable but also educational, allowing students to learn about animal habitats, conservation efforts, and the importance of protecting wildlife. The hands-on experience of observing animals in their enclosures helped foster a deeper appreciation for nature and wildlife among our older students.
Overall, these field trips were a fantastic way for our Primary Years students to learn outside of their usual environment, fostering curiosity and a love for nature.
