Summer School Weekly Themes and Activities

Each week brings a different theme for each age group. Here is what children will explore this summer.

Week 1 (27-31 July)

For our youngest children, we offer the “Fairies and Dragons” programme. This group is led by Ash Levey and Joanna Amoah. Children step into an enchanting world where magical fairies and friendly dragons bring imagination to life. Each day they can choose their own adventure through creative crafts, sensory play, games and outdoor fun, building confidence, creativity and friendships along the way.

Our older children join “Chef Explorers”. This group is led by Joanna Mentel, with a second teacher to be confirmed. Young chefs set off on a delicious summer adventure filled with cooking, creativity and discovery. Through tasty recipes, inspiring food activities and playful learning about healthy habits and emotions, they explore the joyful world of food in a fun and engaging way.

Week 2 (3-7 August)

For our youngest children, we offer the “Under the Sea” programme. This group is led by Joanna Amoah and Ash Levey. Campers dive beneath the waves and discover the wonders of the ocean through exciting hands-on activities and creative adventures. From fascinating sea creatures to colourful marine crafts and teamwork challenges, each day inspires curiosity.

Our older children join “Lights, Camera, Action!”. This group is led by Kasia Kata-Margraf and Aleks Malawa. Future filmmakers step behind the camera and bring their own stories to life as they create a short film from beginning to end. Through acting, directing, storytelling and creative design, they explore the magic of cinema while building confidence, teamwork and imagination.

Week 3 (10-14 August)

For our youngest children, we offer the “Artists Around the World” programme. This group is led by Magda Chmielek and Dominika Legut. Young artists discover the colourful world of famous painters and create masterpieces inspired by some of history’s greatest talents. From Van Gogh’s stars to Yayoi Kusama’s playful dots, each day is filled with creativity, painting and artistic adventures.

Our older children join “Pirates and Mermaids World”. This group is led by Christina Rindap-Longs and Olga Pawełczyk. Children set sail on an exciting adventure where pirates and mermaids bring imagination to life. With outdoor games, creative workshops and treasure-filled fun, they enjoy a week packed with laughter, teamwork and magical summer memories.

Week 4 (17-21 August)

For our youngest children, we offer the “Let’s Go Camping!” programme. This group is led by Kat Januszkiewicz and Dominika Legut. Young explorers head off on a fun-filled camping adventure without leaving the Summer School behind. Through nature-inspired crafts, mini hikes, games, songs and storytelling, they discover the wonders of the outdoors while building curiosity and teamwork.

Our older children join “Wizarding Academy”. This group is led by Aleks Malawa and Olga Pawełczyk. Aspiring wizards enter a magical world filled with spells, potions, enchanted creatures and exciting quests. From wand-making and dragon egg adventures to magical challenges and mysterious discoveries, every day unlocks imagination and creates unforgettable memories.

What Is a Summer School?

A summer school, sometimes called a summer camp, is a holiday programme where children spend their summer break taking part in activities such as crafts, science, drama and outdoor play instead of staying at home. Our Summer School in Cracow runs in English, in an international setting, so children can learn the language naturally while making new friends and having fun. It is a great option for working parents and for families looking for an English summer camp in Cracow.
