As part of the World Oral Health Day celebrated globally in March, children in Year 1 and Year 2 were visited by the dentists from PerioCare Dental Clinic on 19th March. The focus of the visit was to raise awareness of good oral hygiene practice. Children learned how to brush their teeth properly and talked about what kind of food is good for their teeth and what food they should avoid eating. Children also had their teeth examined using the DiagnoCam, a device that detects a full range of caries. The children really enjoyed the examination and the whole visit. Going to the dentist will be a pure pleasure from now on.
