Year 5’s trip to Ethnographic Museum

Ways to organize learning, student treasures, educational challenges. What circumstances forced the closure of schools over a hundred years ago? What challenges did former teachers and students have to deal with? What connects them and our school? Pupils from Y5 have returned to the riveting world of wooden school desks, antique writing boards and inkwells where every student could spend three years in the same class, mastering their craft and abilities.

The main aim of the workshop was to activate minds, thought and the imagination of our pupils by letting them immerse in the history of our ancestors through engaging discovery, discussion and creation. Thank you, Year 5 students, for participating!
