These classes aim to teach pupils about beliefs, doctrines and practices of the Roman Catholic Church in Poland. They are entirely run in Polish and run for children who are going to take their First Communion this year.
Short description: We offer religious education classes for primary pupils run in Polish.
The curriculum for these classes is set out by the Head of the Roman Catholic Church in Poland as mentioned in the Polish law (article 53, point 4 of the Constitution and Dz.U. z 1998 r. nr 51, position 318). Therefore all the matters taught in the programme are strictly prescribed by the Roman Catholic Church authorities in Poland and the religious education teachers follow the special church legislation. As such the school has no legal right to comment on the content or methodology of these classes.
